How the Wild Card round works

The first round of the playoffs. Fourteen teams qualify, seven from each conference: four division winners and three wild cards in each.

The top seed in each conference sits the round out. The other twelve play six games across Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Kickoffs are confirmed once seeding settles, after Week 18.
